Help Me Help Your Maskne.

Going clean... but Maskne. What's a lil Sephora troll to do?

K. Let's be real, maskne sucks. I don't even have sensitive skin, and my skin has been freaking out since wearing a mask... for like 5 min to Trader Joe's. I had to fix this. Herbivore is one of my favorite brands of all time. Seriously, it's Herbivore Botanicals and Kora Organics till the end- I would exclusively go to great lengths to keep both in my life.

The Jasmine Green Tea Toner spray and Lapis oil from Herbivore are a game changer, plus they're all natural. This stuff is great and it works.

The thing is...

It's not going to fix your shit overnight. You have to be consistent. Before experiencing maskne, I only washed my face at night. Now, I wash my face, do the toner (also no need to use a cotton pad, just spray 2-3 spritz' on your hands and pat them on your face), then 3-4 drops of the Lapis oil in the morning and at night. This oil is actually enough to replace my morning and night moisturizer. I use the Kora Sleep mask at night in addition to this and that's pretty much it.

It's all about quality over quantity, I've tried both. Simplifying the routine has not only decreased my maskne, it also gives me a nice lil glow without 15000 layers. Also- these were sold out at Sephora for a long time, so I ended up purchasing through Revolve, total was $60 for toner and mini oil. Ultimately, it's more bang for your buck since it lasts forever- tried and true by yours truly <3
